I am excited to make my very first entry on my blog! Thank you to my dear friend Sherry for making this blog for me! Sherry is such a dear friend and our children are friends too! Well, it is beautiful today!! So pretty and sunny. God is soooooo good and rightly to be praised!!!! Praise the Name of Jesus!!!!! I have especially enjoyed spring this year. How thankful I am for the gift of vision. God is the perfect artist indeed!!!!
I have started some tomatoes by seeds in containers. Oh, I hope they produce. Usually my container tomatoes do not do too well. Last year my container basil and dill did well. I was able to dry some basil, as well as spearmint and peppermint from our yard. My Dad and Jean Ann have some tomato plants for us as well, and I am anxious to get them planted in our yard.
How I wish we had a homestead where we could have a large garden. I long for that day, and know that it is all according to God's will. Maybe we will get our own land and maybe not, but in the meantime I am trying to bloom where I am planted. I do like it here. I can garden some and I enjoy the ponds and ducks. (and the Canadian geese when they stop in to visit:-) I enjoy the big blue herron when he, (or she?) is in the vicinity. Plus we have been here for a long time, (almost 12 years) and I just plain like it! I still miss Sherry, Daniel and their children living close by. Their son Jonathon is staying with us right now, and I am sure enjoying having him around! He is a great fellow and lots of company for Jacob!
Gabe, Niki and Madi are living with us right now as well. Yes, lots of us here in our little double wide, but I love it!! If I just did not have that old chronic fatigue. Wish I had the energy for my grandbabies that I did for my babies. sigh....
Well, I guess I will call it quits for my first entry. God bless you all and I look forward to having visitors to my blog. If any of you have a blog, let me know. I would love to visit. (I love yours Sherry and I had fun reading some on Abby's too!! I will visit them again and cannot wait to do so!!)It may take me awhile though, as sometimes my computer time is practically zilch.
