God is soooo good!!!!!!!

Today is a good day as I am reflecting on so many blessings. The sun is shining today prompting me to think of spring. Don't get me wrong, I have LOVED this winter!!! I truly do LOVE snow!!!!!!!!! We have had lots this winter. Now that is the kind of winter that I love and long for!!! Each fall, I hope in my heart that it will be a winter with much snow. I enjoy hearing dear Bob tell of ways to tell if it will be a "bad" winter. To me it is a good winter though when others consider it "bad". Bob is our dear older neighbor and I enjoy visits with him and his dear wife Rose!! Love ya Bob and Rose!! Get those canning jars ready Rose!! It won't be long. Lilly ya hear! Get those canning jars ready!!
I am thinking of Jacob and Jon and the fun they had yesterday at Nolls. Thanks Melissa for getting pizza for everyone!! That was soooo sweet of you!! Thanks again for all of the rides you gave to Jacob and Beth back in the play practice days at Hayden. You are a blessing!!
Mark started his new job at North today. Thank you Jesus!!! Help him Lord to get settled in well.
Well, gotta run for now. I am at the college libray and it is so nice and peaceful here. I love it here. I miss the days when Bethie used to be here with me. Oh well, she loves going to school and is doing well considering how sick she has been this school year. Her stomach is better, not perfect, but better, Thanks be to God!!!!!!!
I am looking forward to summer and fun with Mark, kids, grandbabies, and all the family, (Nick and Kelley, you are a part of our family!) Also with Mamma of course.
It is drawing in on a year since losing Daddy. I miss you so much Daddy and so thankful we got to go to your gravesite last week. Jean Ann, Denby, Gabe, little Madi and me. I know you aren't really there Daddy, but it is so nice to go there in your memory and feel that connection with you. I feel connected with you all the time though. I know you are helping me. Kiss little Baby Mary's soft cheek for me Daddy. Thanks a bunch. Whisper in her little ear and tell her how much Mommy misses and loves her. Thanks Daddy, I love you and miss you so much.

Simplicity!

I love this word!! Simplicity!! To me, it does not mean easy, but it means happiness. Being simple. Yep that's me. I love my small house. Sure it would be nice to have one extra room and a little more closet space. But not having them, just means I need to simplify even more. Without so many things, I have more time for family and important things. At this age, I am in love with being at home. The simple home life is for me. Praying, reading, baking, canning, crocheting, journaling, working on Christmas presents for next Christmas, working on my Advent Journal for next Advent, trying to learn to sew, the list goes on. Things that I love doing right in the comfort of my small home. I often think about how small our home is, but how full of love. There were many years of homeschooling right in this confined little space. Too bad Elizabeth did not enjoy homeschooling in the more recent years. But that is okay. I still know we did the right thing. Sometimes I feel worried about her being in the big school setting. But now God has given me so much comfort in granting the blessing of having her Daddy work right there at her school. Mark just found out today that he got the job of being lead custodian at Columbus North. YIPPEE!!!!!! God is sooooo very good and rightly to be praised.
Before I sign off, I want to say a BIG thank you to Sissy Linny for my beautiful new white Mantilla. What a precious gift to me!!!!!!!! I love you Sissy!!!!!!!
